I'm a neurodivergent, BIPOC, queer artist. I'm naturally very hard on myself when learning something new, but Elana is patient and intuitive to your exact needs during each session; sometimes it's therapeutic emotional processing, sometimes it's nerding out, or other times it's troubleshooting gear or DAWs step by step. I've grown immensely after taking lessons with Elana, gaining confidence as a musician, producer and woman. I feel much more capable when I enter a studio to collaborate with other musicians, or when I'm just sitting down at my own home studio setup to create something by myself.

As someone who is a professional audio engineer I have been taught by aggressive, high-demanding, impatient men in the past and I immediately noticed in my first lesson with Elana that I could be myself and I felt safe and comfortable around her.
